Equipment

  • Small saucepan
  • Silicone spatula
  • 8x8 inch pan
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife for slicing

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tsp pineapple extract adjust to taste
  • ¼ cup crushed pineapple very well drained and finely chopped
  • Yellow food coloring optional, pastel shade
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the pan

  • Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

Melt the base

  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.

Flavor it

  • Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract, pineapple extract, salt, and crushed pineapple. Mix until evenly combined.

Color (optional)

  • Add a tiny drop of yellow food coloring for a soft Dole Whip pastel hue.

Set the fudge

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Chill

  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.

Slice & serve

  • Lift out using parchment, slice into squares, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Drain the crushed pineapple extremely well to avoid excess moisture that can prevent the fudge from setting properly.
  • Use low heat only when melting white chocolate to prevent scorching or separation.
  • Pineapple extract strength varies by brand—start with 1 teaspoon and increase gradually for best flavor control.
  • For a smoother texture, finely chop the crushed pineapple before adding.
  • A small pinch of salt balances the sweetness and enhances the pineapple flavor.
  • Chill the fudge fully before slicing for clean, sharp edges.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.

Optional Variations

  • Pineapple Coconut Fudge: Add ¼ cup toasted coconut flakes
  • Swirled Dole Whip Fudge: Swirl in vanilla fudge before chilling
  • Frozen Treat Style: Serve chilled straight from the fridge for a firmer bite
