Sandwich

Instructions

Make the Strawberry Chutney

  • Combine strawberries, balsamic vinegar, honey, shallot, salt, pepper, and thyme in a small saucepan.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thick and glossy.
  • Remove thyme sprig and let cool slightly.

Assemble the Sandwiches

  • Lightly toast croissants cut-side down in a skillet or oven until just warm and crisp.
  • Spread herb cream cheese on the bottom halves of the croissants.
  • Layer turkey slices evenly over the cream cheese.
  • Spoon strawberry chutney generously over the turkey.
  • Top with arugula and any optional add-ins, then close the sandwiches.
