Glaze

  • Mix glaze ingredients and brush over warm pretzel bites.

Make dip & serve

Notes

  • The baking soda bath is essential for achieving that classic chewy soft pretzel texture and deep golden color.
  • For stronger flavor, use Dijon or whole grain mustard in both the glaze and dipping sauce.
  • Brush the pretzel bites while warm so the honey mustard glaze soaks in and creates a glossy finish.
  • If the dough feels sticky, lightly flour your hands instead of adding too much flour to keep the pretzels soft.
  • These homemade honey mustard pretzel bites freeze well — reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through.
  • Add shredded cheddar, crispy bacon bits, or jalapeños for a savory pretzel bite variation that performs well for party snack searches.
  • Serve on a snack board with cheeses, deli meats, and pickles for a viral pretzel appetizer board idea that’s Pinterest-friendly for SugarCloudBaking.
