1Chinese sausagelap cheong, finely diced
1tbspdried shrimpfinely chopped (optional but traditional)

1cupwaterplus turnip liquid
1tbspneutral oil

Instructions
Cook the turnip
Place grated turnip in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5ā7 minutes, stirring, until softened and releasing liquid.
Measure 1 cup of the turnip cooking liquid (top up with water if needed). Set aside.
