Blend about ½–¾ cup cubed watermelon until completely smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp, then skim off any foam from the top.
Step 3: Build the Flavor Base
In a glass, combine the watermelon juice, simple syrup, fresh lime juice, bubblegum flavoring, and a pinch of salt. Stir until fully combined.
Step 4: Optional Caffeinated Version

Step 5: Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice.
Step 6: Add Carbonation
Slowly pour in the well-chilled sparkling water. Gently swirl once—do not overmix.
Step 7: Serve

Notes
For the best bubblegum watermelon soda flavor, use very ripe, sweet watermelon—this enhances the natural fruit taste and reduces the need for extra sweetener.
Straining the blended watermelon creates a smoother, more soda-like texture and removes excess pulp for a cleaner finish.
Always use well-chilled sparkling water to keep your homemade soda crisp, refreshing, and fizzy.
Do not exceed 3 drops of bubblegum flavoring—too much can overpower the drink and make it taste artificial.
Adjust the sweetness by adding slightly more or less simple syrup to suit your taste preference.
For a caffeinated bubblegum watermelon soda, fully dissolve the caffeine powder in warm water before adding—never mix it in dry.
A tiny pinch of salt helps enhance the watermelon flavor and balances the sweetness for a more refreshing drink.
Serve immediately after adding carbonation for the best texture, flavor, and fizz.
